Complete waste of time and money resigning him on the first place. Made no sense at all.

Good luck to him, got frozen out this season and I haven't heard a single complaint out of the lad, seems a good type.

I think if he can stay injury free at Sutton, he could do good things there.

He's still only 28, so 18 months of good form, and who knows? He could resurrect his career.

Given his known injury history, you would assume Sutton have signed him on a pay as you play contract.Big risk for them if not.

Is this the longest period he’s gone without injury? Got to be?

You watch, he'll recover fitness and tear us a new one in the home game.

I thought it had been reported he was injured and that's why he hasn't been in the match day squad the last few games? If that's true then we've done well to not only move him on but get a fee as well.

Oh maybe we let him sort out a move and didn't want to risk him get a long term injury.

Sorry to see him go a decent player in my opinion. Whether it’s a good move for the team will be decided by who we bring in with money and space in the team

Last season yes, this season he's offered very little so don't think he will be missed, but good luck to him at Sutton (apart from when they play us).

He was alright last season, but on the occasions he’s played this year he’s been poor.

I think it’s fair. How many games did he play for us and what was his contribution in those games?
I’m not having all this ‘good luck’ crap. He robbed a wage while sat on the treatment table and then fecks off as soon as he can just like Jake Reeves.

What a lovely human being you are. I'm guessing the likes of Angol and Reeves would rather have not been injured than accused of being a work shy grifter by some guy in the internet.

I’ll say it how it is pal. Most people don’t get full pay whilst on long term sick but football players have that benefit.
I’d feel differently if players got SSP like the rest of us unless they pay into an insurance plan to cover their wages if injured.
What riles me is the club to its detriment picks up the tab meaning they can’t afford replacements and then when these players are fit again they’re gone within a few months.

next to leave will be Eisa who’s been injured for 2 years

I thought all players basic wages when injured was paid by the clubs insurance and topped up by their own if they have any , It shouldn't cost the club a penny ... Remember most players get decent bonusses that will be wiped out if not playing so in affect will be earning a lot less than when playing
