The one above runs his first post pretty close "as thousands of our ‘fans’ and simply didn’t turn up" you have to give him credit never misses a chance to have ago at fellow fans.

 

If he's not ready he shouldn't be out there. We are getting woefully short changed in terms of creativity, our full backs are the two with most assists I believe.

I watch countless games a week, and think why do we never score goals like that. Tap ins from balls across the box, strikers offered up a clean strike on goal, when was the last time you saw one of our players through one on one with the keeper.

We are carrying too many luxury players, the ones given the chance have to be so much better

 

Can Chapman please be dropped. I’ve been after that since September. Infuriating player. No leader in midfield. No fight. Always a mistake or two from the back four. Crosses and set pieces consistently poor. I just don’t understand the timings of the subs tonight. How the hell are we in the play-off positions? Nowhere near enough chances created. Are all our hopes pinned on Derbyshire???

 

poor sods getting suckered into parting with there money ........... anyone with the budget Hughes has had would be walking this league but no not us let down by someone who thinks he knows better............. that tonight summed us up tonight getting out fought out played by a team that could possibly be a non league side come the summer ......... we can harp on about the ref don’t get me wrong he was poor but any team worth anything would have torn Rochdale a new one ........... It’s performances like tonight that make me wonder if it’s worth renewing my season ticket next season after 30+ years. We’ve seen this all before. A real chance to make grounds on 3rd place and we blow it.

Regardless of what we think of the referee’s performance we were awful tonight. 3 shots on target in the first half, none in the second.

Rochdale on the other hand took the game to us and fair play to them for a spirited second half that got them the 3 points they deserved.

We are our own worst enemies and for the good of my own mental health I think I’ve had enough.

I've got sucked in again after two straight wins and feel so let down by the team and it's manager tonight.
Rochdale we're nothing special tonight they just adapted better after the break.
I travel down to Wimbledon on Saturday wondering which City's going to turn up, were so inconsistent in performance levels all over the park.

 

I'm thinking the same about mental health had enough sick of league 2 garbage, just don't see us getting out of it anytime soon.

Until we see real investment from an owner who gives a f... going nowhere.

The grandsons working away so I kept him updated and when I said they had missed the penalty only for another of their players to score his reply was I bet it was Henderson, we couldn't make up.
Even at 37 it's something that comes naturally to the guy who has been a steady goal scorer all of his career and usually a thorn in Bradford City's side.

To be honest I’m getting sick of doing 45 mile round trips and all the expense that comes with it for the one exciting home performance we get in every 7 games of whatever. I think that’s me done.

 

What kind of investment do we need?

I don't look at that team and think it's cheap. I don't think the manager is cheap. I don't think the squad size is too small. We're clearly not lacking for one of the top scorers in the division.

I'm not sure we need masses of investment, what we could probably use is patience and time.

 

Something I’ll never understand is fans clapping a sub standard performance ending in defeat.

we've had real investment. This is possibly the most expensive squad in league two. Problem is we have a manager who has wasted it again. It's not rupps fault we aren't in the top three, it's hughes. Smallwood, chapman, walker, all expensive. Platt, foulds, gilliead, sutton, not promotion material. Too many players come here for the money and have no stomachs for the fight.

hand on heart, when have we played well this season ? Orient & Stevenage would have torn Rochdale a new hole tonight.

 

whilst I think two ludicrous decisions cost us points what disappointed me was the negative way we approached the second half giving Rochdale the initiative instead of pressing which we have done in recent matches. And it is absolutely no good making adhoc substitutions and losing our shape completely. The only plus on a terrible night for us is that Eisa is gaining fitness and looking like the player we thought we had signed last season
