    Aye, good for him.

    Wellens brought in a player he's worked with a ton, so that signalled the end of Wood's usefulness there.

    Not a bad player, not great, but should still be able to have a solid career.

    @Petrov@Petrov Ha yes, I forgot about Meredith, but I have to say if I was to pick my all time City XI then Jacobs would be my left back for sure.

    He won’t want to come North. Think his wife is a Doctor at one of the main London hospitals which is why he went to Orient.
    Can see him at Colchester Sutton or Wimbledon.

    Medical training is usually four years, so she will be a junior doctor, they can move from one post to another to gain more experience and progress up the levels. Undoubtedly there is more opportunity in the London area, given the number of hospitals.
    To add to the list of clubs at a similar tier, which could be commutable, then I would suggest Gillingham and Milton Keynes (which is exceptionally well served by trains).

    Would have loved him back. Was great to see him progressing when with us, and too bad he hit a bit of a rut. Still too good for us at the moment. Tranmere have got a good un.

    This talk about geography deciding players clubs. Is it really a thing? I used to live in Cardiff with my Mrs, but work in Burton on Trent. Five days a week away, Friday drive 3h home, Sunday 3h back to Burton. Was tough, but I/we wouldn't have done it unless it made financial and career sense. She had her job down in Cardiff, and then eventually she got a job in Nottingham and we bought a place and relocated. Loads of factors though. Not the same for everyone.

    Tranmere though - not so far from us at all. Especially when he must have put a few roots down in Bradford.

    Meredith was better going forward , Wayne was a better defender. I couldn’t compare them on that basis.
