Incorrect. I didn't after the Northampton, Orient or Carlisle defeats.

We also hit the bar and some near misses we deserved the win as we did Thursday. I save Harrogate picked another away point up to day. After three victories before us

More than happy with that. That’s , as they say, football!
Either way type game, yes we rode our luck late on , but let’s not forget with a tiny bit more luck we could have had 6! Credit to Salford for the open game we witnessed.

Rochdale are at home against Newport, probably arranged long before our home game was called off.
City should have been at Stockport on Jan 7th

Where do you see "quite a few changes"?

Can't see anyone other than Young and perhaps East going out on loan. Perhaps Odusina to get some games under his belt, but we've brought in a CB to cover that eventuality, anyway.

Walker's back now. Osadebe will be back for March.

Perhaps another midfield player, but I can't see the justification of bringing in lots of players just for the sake of it and then upsetting team harmony.

I'm all for improving the squad - but some surprising names would have to move on.

I'll be honest I don't get this "a lot of work to do" narrative, that admittedly lots of City fans state. We're just 4 points behind Northampton and we've got to 39 points at the halfway stage, arguably without our best player (Walker).

It's League 2. Teams always need 'a lot more work'.

Exactly. How many weeks have people on here and elsewhere been saying that 4231 doesn't work for us and the players were visibly unhappy with it? And Hughes told us he wasn't going to change. Well, the passing around for no reason at the back seems to have gone, we're much more direct and lo and behold we look very dangerous. But isn't the manager the one who's supposed to have all the tactical acumen rather than us peasants?

Don't know how you do it @Bigrod@Bigrod (within speed limits). I rarely get home to Wilsden before six.

I can see Periera going back-been a huge let down in all honesty. Other than that , like you say, unless the player wants to leave who is going out the door? This squad IS good enough to get to the autos IMHO. Today showed we have the guile and aptitude for the battle. Walkers cameo was very encouraging. Eisa in the right place at the right time. Looking much more positive today than it did on Boxing day.

I think the main change is us scoring first or rather, once again, early in the matches. We started this game (first 5 - 10 mins) far worse than we did against Northampton, Stockport etc.

Difference is we actually converted chances created.

We're not playing two up front as some say. What we have in Wright is a far more direct and streetwise operator at playing behind a striker than Chapman.

Anyone would think that the earlier tactics had been an unmitigated disaster - instead they delivered six consecutive away victories.

Finally, we all see the game in a different way, but I didn't witness any players looking "visibly unhappy" with that system. Unhappy, that they weren't converting the chances they were given, perhaps!!

So you don't get this 'a lot of work to do. Then three lines down, Its league 2 teams always need a lot of work. Make your mind up, getting splinters sat on that fence

I half agree about Pereira going back. But Hughes may also like him around the camp - he was very enthusiastic at the end of the Harrogate match, for instance - no indication of an unhappy player.

No need to send him back unless Luton insist, i.e. because of lack of game time. Often these players make a vital contribution come March / April.

What I mean is that teams always need improving as we'd always like perfect performances every time.

    That's an idealism, though.

What we have to do is coldly analyse what realistically is needed. And the answer is nothing much.

But please, do tell who you think we should jestisson of you have doubts about.
