Maybe I'm being negative but he seems to make a lot of poor choices.

Seems to continually run into the opposition with team mates just watching him and wondering why.

 

Not been brilliant from us but atleast we've had a couple of good spells in there, which is definitely more than I can say about the Carlisle game...

Seems like even though we have half a dozen forward thinking players on the pitch that no one wants to be in the penalty area with Oliver.

 

Has their keeper had a save to make? We just don’t shoot enough. As said earlier, it’s a very good job Harrogate are terrible.

Weve had a lot of shots just not very accurate.

Very little about that performance to be encouraged by. Again.

 

I didn't think it was that bad. Just an average league two match.

 

Very average performance but a wins a win

1st home win after 103 days a third of a year, which is a disgrace for this squad in this league

 

More effort tonight not really troubled by Harrogate but a well deserved win.

Those that don't understand the beautiful game will call that another crap performance but those who know football will see this is a squad that cares. Even Cook comes on and chases everything down. You don't have to play well every game but we must always press at this level and do the basics right!

Very happy we limited the short passes and played some great balls into the channels and also put some crosses in the box. I think this formation suits us better as it allows Wright, Chapman, Sutton and Oliver to rotate and keep the energy of the press while allowing Smallwood to do what he does best and break up play. Very impressed with the attitude of the players and Hughes to know when it's not working, something needs to change and he did that tonight.

Not a world beater performance but the effort needs appreciation and we got three points!
