    Bloody plastic Park ;)

Joking aside, I’d probably err on the side of caution with black ice knocking around. Stay home and warm.

I have not a clue how, but Hughes is planning and expecting the game to go ahead

City will scrap plans to train at Valley Parade today to protect the pitch but Hughes expects the game to go ahead.

“There’s a quiet confidence,” he said. “We obviously want the game and need to get back playing because it seems an age since the last one.

“Everyone is working towards that end. There has to be a little concern but I think it’s almost certain to go on.”

I used to love a game in the snow and ice. When I was about 12. Now that roaring fire and a pi t seems so much more accommodating.

You're not manning up. We all know you will be staying at house and playing with your balls.

    Seriously though. Stay at home.

It won’t be up to Hughes though.

Bradford City need to start thinking about the fans. Black Ice out there etc.

He has to have the players in the mentality that it’s going ahead.

We all know it won’t be

The decision might well be taken for you!

If not and you decide to travel, drive safely.

Feels like it wasn't that long since I was sitting in full sun getting baked at 30+ degrees and people were passing out (hopefully they were all fine).

    Now it's -4.

    Oh well. Rain or shine.

If it was like it currently, sun out and a balmy 4 degrees it would be lovely, however its sleet, pissing down rain and no sun tomorrow unfortunately according to the forecast

Developed a sore throat/tender glands/cough/headache/runny nose/sore eyes (which I would have if City lost anyway), so decided it would be absolutely mad to be out in the freezing cold for two and a half hours. Afraid it is a miss for me.
Apart from sections of the Midland Road, all the Stands are in the shadow and will be bitterly cold.
I had to go out this morning and got back in at midday. The car thermometer was showing minus 1.5 C.
If it goes ahead will catch it on i-follow.
Given the usual routine of ‘watering’ the pitch before the kick off and at half time, I wonder how this will be dealt with!

Do we? There's been no indication that it's in danger. Lots of other L2 games are already off. We've not even had a cautionary brief.

The weather in Bradford/Fax/Hudds has been ever so slightly milder than the North West in the past couple of days and the thaw will start for us in the morning.

Overnight frost will be the key - but it's not predicted to be bad. I'd be surprised if it's off (cue; match postponed notice from the club :*@)

But about 4C above freezing. If they've kept the pitch frost free enough to avoid it already been cancelled, then I'd be surprised if it's going to deteriorate.

It could be their waiting for this milder air - which of course might not come!!

Just seen this on Twitter. According to them the Kop half looks ok which probably isn't too unsurprising with it being more sheltered but does suggest that the TL Dallas half will be the issue like it normally is.

Interesting that Northampton have moved their match against Carlisle from tomorrow to Tuesday. Wounder if this might be an option for us with not playing again until 26th. For Rochdale fans it would be short notice but with it being close distance they shouldn't need to book the day off work and there are trains after the match to Rochdale so they could potentially get the train.
