That half perfectly encapsulates our season. More good than bad at first glance, but the good is ultimately toothless and wasteful, then bad means teams only need to do a little to score - 2 shots on target and two goals. A goal given away through a sloppy pass and a direct ball that cuts us open and another by leaving a man free at a corner. Penalty shouts denied. Chances passed up. We’re so, so frustrating to watch because I look at Orient and similar teams and don’t think they have better players particularly. They just make better use of what they have, they’re more clinical and make fewer mistakes.

What I would say though, is we don’t half overplay. Other teams make attacks happen with 2 or 3 passes. We take 9 or 10 and end up shooting ourselves in the foot.

 

Kimoya says both goals out of Bradfords control>>>.. our forward tackles our centre half and we give away a cheap corner.. then a corner pass to their man on is own at the outside of the box. what bit of no control is that grrrrr

 

Games gone, Cook is showing again why he's a League Two striker blowing hot and cold. Get Oliver on for Cook, East for Gillied and Walker on for Chapman now

 

I don’t disagree. Too big a squad, short on quality in a couple of areas. But I still think we’re shooting ourselves in the foot tactically. Increasingly, I’m losing any belief that Hughes can take us up.

 

Cook is well out of his depth. We will not go up with him as our main striker (which I know is a crazy thing to say as he is the leagues top scorer), but I feel he is the weak link and is stopping us from playing how Hughes wants us to. We need someone with pace and movement up there, to bring in Chapman, Wright and Banks into the game further up the pitch (see Leyton Orients forward).

Cooks touch, fitness and footballing awareness are all not up to scratch.

 

Got to be disappointed. Not one of two pens . Defender smacked Banks in the face when challenging for the ball, not sure re Wrights.

Cook should have got two chances on target, otherwise he’s anonymous.

Rest of side playing reasonably well to be fair…although Lewis is taking too many risks!

By eck, we look completely lost now.

 

And the first goal comes from a poor ball forward, a second ball won by a midfielder who doesn’t have anyone within 10 yards of him and a full back 5 yards behind 2 centre halves playing for offside.

Kiwomya is a moron. No wonder we gave him a job as performance coach.

Weak where we need to be strong.Defence as usual all over the place not rock solid, midfield not sharp enough and lacking quality finish up front. Has to be addressed in Jan.

It is awful to watch and so frustrating. We have no surprise about us. Sloppy passing and no shape to our play except at odd times. Here we go again

 

Orient have a perfect mixture of experience and young players. Most of their subs are under 22 and half the first team are young lads. They'll walk this league with the manager they have but on paper, you'd think we were the better team. It just shows you how many players we have who are not performing this season

 

Today's bench looks attack heavy, probably way too much though- Sutton is out of favour so if our full backs get injured or sent off then it is Yann time?

Oliver,Angol,Eisa and Walker, likely see all these in the second half
