With Matty Taylors name being thrown around the board I've just been having a nosy at Bristol City's forum. Two things were a little worrying as far as our interest goes in that they claim he's on 10k, feasible I suppose in the Championship, and some expect him to sign an extension this summer.

The intriguing part for me was though, and it may have been already mentioned, is that the development squad costs are on the write down side of the accounts. Surely that means we can hide some of the squad within there should they be on the fringes or even the subs bench. Means perhaps a larger squad able to fit within the FFP rules which was the part under discussion.

Probably been stated before but it's what I've brought away from their discussion.

 

I saw a report saying Scannel was on £7000 a week which is probably nearer the mark for someone not getting in the first team.
