They've played well again tonight against Charlton. He's certainly got the team playing for him.

I'm not saying they're garbage - but I'm very confident we overtake them and finish above them this season!

Just looked in "grudge match" thread and your bet is with @Offcomedun@Offcomedun, he said we'd see Eisa back before the end of this season.

A good ref would have just had a word knowing that it would be a second yellow ...

    Spot on.

But when you're painting by numbers, you don't use common sense.

He's the referee who sent a lad off for Sutton United recently, and held the red card up for about 30 seconds because he's a "look at me, look at me" clown.

    You most certainly do Kevin!

Good to see Abo getting league game time, as I predicted

The bet was with me, Dave.

I'm confident that Kevin will pay up, unlike you know who.

Great win tonight, despite two unbelievably soft yellow cards and a ridiculous period of added time.

    Certainly made the trip worthwhile.

Wasn't expecting that but great performance. Whether it's the lower level of expectation away from home or the home side coming at us, we certainly dominated up until the sending off. It'll be interesting who he picks to replace Platt on Saturday. Surely Songo'O deserves his chance in there. Special mention to the support it sounded great on the box and could be heard for most of the game. Only downside was the two flares thrown on the pitch, why risk getting the club censored and fined.

    I'd be a bit disappointed if it wasn't Songo'o.

He's always defended manfully when he's come on, and I'm not convinced Odusina has found his footing just yet.

But that doesn’t make tonight’s referee wrong.
It just makes him a different referee to one that would have a word .
Kicking the ball 50 yards away after a foul will nearly always get you a yellow card and as he had already been booked it was a stupid thing to do.
I’m not defending tonight’s ref as I cannot for the life of me figure out where he got 10 minutes from but I thought both Platts cards were correct if you go by the strict letter of the law.If other refs choose to referee a game differently and use a different approach then so be it.They are not robots and all of them see things slightly differently and have different ways of refereeing just as we see things differently as fans.
All tonight’s performance does is put him in to the “referees who we think are shit because a particular decision went against us”category.
Saturdays ref might be from the “referees who you don’t notice” category.
As fans we are so blinkered towards refereeing and
I guarantee that the next time a slightly iffy decision goes for us we take it with both hands and if it leads to us getting three points we will celebrate as if it never happened.

Another great win on the road. Tough place to go but it seems to be a kind ground to us in recent times.

At this stage of the season I'm more than happy to be 5th in the league and only 2 points outside the top 3. Not a bad place to be, but it remains a very tight pack all the way down to mid-table.

Felt the second yellow was really harsh on Platt. Having watched the incident back he was already commiting to kicking the ball before the ref blew his whistle. Had the whistle blown a few seconds earlier then the decision would have been understandable. In the end I felt it was a little harsh.

That, for me, was the thing I took away from this game. By mixing it up a bit, we kept them guessing. Hopefully, that approach will continue.

Great game, glad we held on. Don't think I'd have coped too well with all the road closures on the way home had we conceded a 99th minute equaliser

Somebody mentioned earlier that the constant passing across the back 4 and back to Lewis didn’t happen half as much as usual tonight.
They looked to be trying to move it forward a lot quicker tonight and use Banks and Wrights pace to better effect.
