From a neutral point of view that was an excellent game of football. Fair result although Harry Lewis again having a second half that kept us in the game. Hard to complain with a point against a team who played some good stuff at times.

Stop moaning , a point away from home , against a team hitting form.
We are not going to win every match, but making sure we get something from the game is crucial and every last one of you would have taken a point at 2.59 pm

Crichlow at fault for a couple of Grimsby’s chances.

We all want 3pts but have to be happy with a point with today's performance

After last few sub appearances time for Angol to start now instead of Chapman or Pereira.

Frustrating at times today, but clean sheet and a point away at a side that are on good form at the moment is not to be sniffed at.

Agree. Decent point, all told. Can't play well every week. And we weren't bad, we just weren't good. In previous years we'd have lost that.

Yes I agree but we do make it hard for ourselves at times. We need to do better up front.

    Not good enough

This team isn't up to it.

You happy clappers might be. More fool you.
That's great for our keeper that is doing his job.

But our out field lads are not.. we've got issues. Imo, that was evident from the off. ( This season)

Listening on the radio you have to take the pragmatic view that a point is a good result from the game. I love some of the posters on here who’s opinions swing from us being a world beating team midweek to being the worst team on a Saturday.
When will you realise that there are no easy games in this league? We don’t just have to turn up each week, we have to earn the points and it sounded like we did just that today

The point on Cook isn't unreasonable. I like Chapman, but he needs to add more in terms of end product. And Perreira has been garbage. Others need to contribute more.

Firstly on the game - great! Both teams had their moments however have to say we probably come out the most happier with a point as Grimsby had the better chances.

That said, todays game pretty much summarises the season so far for me. Some bright spots, our keeper as good as we have seen for many years but above all for me it feels a game where we haven’t showed our full potential.

Im not expecting us to walk the league this year but genuinely believe we have a squad capable of top 3 this season. However in many games so far this season we just seem to lack that decisive cutting edge, whether it’s dominating games when we win or scraping through by a single goal.

I’m really hoping we click very soon and start walking teams like I genuinely think we can. So far, not quite been there.

Side note - thought Wright was very good for the majority of today. Looks a great prospect.

On reflection it’s a good point but why is our play so laborious. Time after time we had space to break and hit them on the counter and it came to nothing.
Most of our play going forwards is wasteful

Chapman can be infuriating. Technically better than this level and shows it at times but at others his passing and vision just isn't there. Needs to impose himself more because the talent is there.

We have as good a chance as any of going up this season.
As of yet none of the flair attacking midfield/ wide boys have hit any real form Pierra , Chapman Wright , Young are all relatively inexperienced. Walker , Eisa , Osadibe have not yet kicked a ball in anger. We will be fine and nothing to say we wont splash out come January.
