    I'll watch on iFollow because I'm based overseas. And Italian TV is dire. I generally don't mind this competition. As a titbit for the lower leagues, I think it's fine. Hopefully we won't have to take part for much longer. I don't like the involvement of the u21s/u23s from higher leagues but I do agree with MH that we need to develop a winning mentality right through the club for every competition. We have some good players in the squad demanding match minutes so I expect a decent game.

    I get your point on that, and with having a "proper" football manager, and a proper squad with depth, this competition is probably more important to us this year than it has ever been,

    we will see what Hughes thinks when he picks the team. Personally I think its going to be strong team. Burton are through no matter what happens today. Worth noting too that burton have a big game against cheltenham and are in the relegation spots so don't think they will risk it for minutes.

    we are out if Leicester win and we lose by a 4 goal margin.

    I read somewhere that the competition is more lucrative (in terms of prize money) than the League Cup. So on that basis alone it's surely worth going as far as we can?

    I'm surprised Doyle or the kid from Wolves haven't been given a run out in this competition and give Lewis a rest
