Really important win and clean sheet and very much deserved. Only gripe is we should've won by more and Chapman should've had a couple just for himself.

Salford were pretty poor. Kept the ball well but no quality in the final third whatsoever and was an easy day at the office for the back four and Lewis. Shoutout to Platt who was excellent and back to his best after last week's blip.

Didn't Gilliead miss the game because he became a father today, that was the story doing the rounds before the game.

Cook made it look so easy he was running away from goal so had to twist whilst stroking it under the keeper with his right foot, a quality finish.

Agree. Thought both he and Wright were very good today. I don’t know why or what it is, but there’s something about Foulds that reminds me of Stephan Darby - not saying he’s anywhere near that level yet, think it’s more about that he seems to really give everything to every game he plays and at the moment the passion is been matched by performance levels.

If they had moved half the supporters from the South Stand (to the west side closer to the home end), they could have possibly sold another 800 tickets to City.
It is a 5,000 (or there about Meccano stadium) capacity.

Changing the subject, saw a lot of cars parked on Moor Lane and Moorside Road had parking tickets.

Critchlow v Watt made that goal! Chapman was very very unlucky and had a good game!

I can’t see Ridehalgh getting back in anytime soon, injured or not.

Good luck to him but today his team lost and they're below us in the table and I hope I can say similar after the last match of the season!

For all his qualities he was never a tackler. Crichlow wanted it more but then had the composure to play a well weighted through ball. Really good piece of play.

Chapmans best game for us today I think. Fingers crossed he can maintain this standard because on his day he's clearly a very good player at this level.

That fat Scottish oaf never got out of bed as far as I'm concerned.

Couldn't care less about him or Stevenage, aside from a minor desire to see them blow it and drop out of the promotion race.

Didn’t see the game today as got an invite to Burnley v Swansea to watch our old boy Cullen run the show.

I kept checking my phone and part of me expecting worst so it was fantastic to see. Sounds like we played well as well, Salford I’d expect to be up there so it’s good we can do a job on them and teams like Stevenage.

Need to build momentum and get out of this league!

The quality at championship level is some what of an eye opener!

Spookily, with regards to Darby - I was thinking the same. Remember, he started off the glory season on the bench as McArdle played RB.

I saw that Cullen through ball. Why didn't he do that against Millwall at Wembley? Mind you he couldn't improve on 10/10 and Clarke would still have missed it!!

Seriously, great to see him doing well.

He was still quite similar, some great balls but not many like his assist and had a few chances to pull the trigger and to the fans frustrations he didn’t. Plenty of moaning to say they hammered Swansea!

Salford are planning a ground swap with them moving to share the 12,000 aj bell stadium with sale, and Salford red devils moving to the peninsula. Start of 23/24 season.
