I think I would also be questioning why clubs are being vague.

If clubs came out to fans and said "we want to do this because it saves X amount of pounds" then fine but not one club has put any actual guesstimate figures into the equation, never mind anything closer to the real figure. This is despite clubs carrying out surveys to decide if fans would accommodate the changes?

If the clubs seriously want fans to help then at least do the studies properly, release the appropriate information and make the surveys worthwhile.

It really has been poor from EFL clubs imo.

thing is if there wasn’t money to be saved why would they be trying to do it? If anything changing the time will mean a drop in attendance, even if small, so why would they try if it was all downside?

To pander to the “current thing”.

Bending the knee, sticking rainbow flags round the ground, giving ‘refugees’ free entry, just add this “current crisis” to the list

Think 1 or 12.30 should be the norm and the season moved to more summer football

The EFL meeting seems to have realised that corporate packages would suffer a significant fall in sales.

They also reasoned that overnight accommodation would be required more often.

It seems to have been rejected on financial reasons for the clubs.

No mention of the potential impact on Supporters.

Interesting that the club have not put out a statement, following the invite to Supporters to vote on the issue!

Many a time I played footy on a Saturday afternoon, gradually kick off times moved forward. Don't need floodlights

I work Sundays and so do many a folk.

What about public transport, buses, trains which run a reduced service on such a day?
What about club staff, stewards whom are currently due to work Saturdays and get Sunday regularly as a day off?
What about all the folk whom play Sunday league football?
What about folk whom watch the Bulls on a Sunday?
What about the initial EFL findings on extra costs for overnight accommodation?
What about Sunday as a family day?
What about competing with Live Sky football on a Sunday? What that have an impact on attendances?

    The list goes on...

How about leaving our game as it is. 3pm Saturday. If it ain't broken....

Your suggestion is utterly wrong Park.

Clearly you’ve never been to Valley Parade then if you’ve never seen any of that.

Not quite sure what you’re doing on this forum.

    I agree. I'm not suggesting it's realistic.

Is this down to our YOOF element acting like nobheads on Midland Road more and more frequently?
