And we keep doing it. We’ve been riding our luck in a few games - this performance level is becoming our norm. Its a concern and it needs sorting. This is piss poor, against a side who’ve lose every away game so far.

 

This playing out from the back just does not work for us. We waste so much energy just to get the ball back where it started. Add to that the sometimes suicidal tippy tappy sh1te and you can understand why the fans are agitated.

Get the feckin ball in the feckin area ffs!!!

 

Stockport are pressing us and stopping any outlet from the back via Smallwood and Gillead. Outside of that we are seeming to struggle with an alternative option. This is where Chapman, Pereira and Wright need to step up

 

What doesn’t work is not having or working to a plan B. Just got to get the danger players on the ball and play in behind Stockport rather than playing into their hands.

 

Fed up of these dog crap teams that just fall over and the referee always sides with them

 

Garbage half. Second best all over the pitch. Credit Stockport who’ve played well and pressed us well, but this is awful from City. Poor on the ball, crap out of possession. Its been coming has this. There’s not a single player out there who could complain if they’re subbed at HT.

We’d be a better side if we went a little bit more direct.

I think it’s fine allowing the midfield and forward players to play a bit, but we’d be much better as a side if we went more direct. Our defence is a liability, with and without the ball.

 

That’s not a fair representation of the game so far at all.

Odusina is shocking he has to hook him at half time.

 

There are several changes that could be made at HT, but Perreira needs hooking. Chapman doesn’t have the space to play as a 10, so stick Oliver on next to Cook, go a bit more direct and push Chapman out to the right,

 

Crichlow would fare even worse.

 

The decision to drop Crichlow for Odusina is looking like a dreadful call. He’s been a total liability on and off the ball, even without the stupid tackle for the penalty.

Generally we’ve been woeful, look like a team of strangers.

 

Anyone know why we have County commentary?

 

Odusina having a mare. Ridicilous penalty given away and getting beat time and time again.

It’s certainly not for his passing,heading or positional sense today.

 

I can understand why the change was made tbh. Odusina has struggled but is better aerially than Crichlow. I dread to think how Crichlow would get on against Wootton

 

Sorry @Tennesseebantam this is shocking.

 

In fairness to Odusina, he's hardly played in the first team and then is expected to just slot in to the team against a team that are pressing high.

What was needed here was more City players to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in and also someone to take responsibility on the pitch to tell the defenders to play more longer balls to mix it up.

Is he going to pull Pereira and Chapman off at half time and switch it up? We'll see I guess.
