So now the Pizza trophy is the be all and end all for some on here :) jeeeeeeeez must hurt a fair few on here that our league form ain’t shite so they have to target games that nobody really cares about anyhow ................ we played ok it gave the fringe players a run out and let’s be right we ain’t gonna face teams that will zip the ball about for fun anyhow ............but hey Ho let’s hope we lose to Stockport on Saturday so the moaning bastards can have a Reet good Saturday night

Sammy Braybrooke. Excellent player. If he bulks up, he'll be a top flight player for sure. Great eye for a pass.

he was very impressive tonight ............ I think some on here think it’s the Leicester U12s rather than the Under 21s ............

We were open down the left 2nd half and sat back allowing them to get back in the game. Young disappeared defensively, Harratt tried too hard and we stopped doing the things (which seems to be a common theme) that worked well. With Oliver and Angol on the pitch we should have dominated the youngsters at the back. We persist in playing out from the back and this causes more problems for us than the opposition.

Disappointing result but on tonight’s evidence I can’t see any changes to the starting 11 on Saturday.

Dropped off and afforded LU21s too much time and space. Crichlow struggled second half and the ball failed to stick after going 2 up...

From my angle, did Hendrie clear Jake young shot off the line?

Oh dear. Well that was an eye opener and shows our squad isn’t as strong as we might think.
Many of the fringe players and some of the first team regulars struggled tonight.
Crichlow was torn a new arsehole by their number 57 in the second half.
Harratt made no impression at all against a team full of kids.
When I saw the lineup tonight I expected a rout. How wrong I was.
A poor show all round that not many can be proud of.
Can be no complaints from any of them when they aren’t starting Saturday.

Hard to judge players on that too much considering Leicester were absolutely dreadful. East and Odusina did pretty well, Sutton and Young too in patches. Hendrie struggled again and Harratt was very poor.

Biggest issue for me was allowing another poor side to get back into a game they didn't deserve to. Becoming a running theme at the minute.

Might as well not go on Saturday reading some of the stuff on here. Obvious we're gonna get turned over by Stockport.

Oliver getting another goal is a big plus.

Everyone seemed to play pretty well until we went 2-0 up, then we sorta collapsed.

Young is like a better version of Harratt - but there's no reason to keep piling on Harratt. It seems to be a bit fashionable at the minute after all the social media BS - but we need to remember that it really is just that - BS! Harratt had his moments, and I was fixing the coffee machine during the shoot out and I honestly don't give a shit about this competition but my wife made us buy it.

What I did remark upon when we went 2-0 up is how good our second string actually is. It's all right saying "it's a bunch of kids", but there isn't really a measuring stick for these games. Leicester had some players that looked the business, but we were obviously the better side for most of the game.

Oliver got another goal from yet another decent cross which adds more to our game in the upcoming months ..............

The General is quite right I am afraid to say. For a guy of your age you can be quite childish at times. You are like everyone else entitled to your opinion but when anyone questions your comments you just spit your dummy out and come out with some childlike retort.

it’s a bunch of kids that have probably been involved at U19 levels with a lot of countries

it’s a bunch of kids who will no doubt train at the finest academy

it’s a bunch of kids who will be no doubt be train with the first team a Premier league one at that

honestly the way some are going on you would think that these bunch of kids where pulled off the estate in Holme wood

Quite a difference of opinion tonight amongst us on here. Some thinking we played quite well others thinking we were terrible.

I think I'll sit in the first camp, we played some good stuff at times, and fair enough it didn't all come off, but it wasnt that bad a performance I feel.

On the face of it, 9 changes and yes it was against an under 21 team but for the first time in a long time I wouldn't be too fussed if one of the first team had to miss a few games. All of what you would call the direct replacements all have sufficient quality to drop in for a game or two.

I'll be honest, I totally forgot about Ryan east. I thought he had a great game, full of energy, spreading the ball well and trying to go forward generally.

Didn't think the two forward thinking subs had any impact, both gillead and Pereira were poor.

One highlight for me was critchlow berating Oliver. He was flattened by their centre half, which prompted critchlow to shout "vadaine you're six foot five, be effing stronger"

Meant our players, but yes Leicester had some decent players in their side.

I thought East stood out tonight. Odusina, Songo’o too.

Sutton and Young were busy but don’t think they’ll be ousting anyone from the starting XI on Saturday.

Oliver started off well and scored a brilliant goal, but had less impact as the game wore on.

Overall though I thought we played some nice football. We’re really passing it about well, and off the ball movement is great. It really is night and day compared to what we were seeing last season and it bodes well for the future.

A final word on Harratt. He put himself about tonight and was unlucky with a couple of chances. Poor penalty, but we don’t want to be turning him into a scapegoat, we need all players and need him to come good. Let’s get behind him not vilify him.
