They're all the same story but there's not one ounce of proof or maths behind any of them. Just a mythical source but it makes zero sense from a logical viewpoint.

As of January we will be paying nearly £3500 more in energy and mortgage bills over the year, no idea how we're going to find that extra cash given the small amount of disposable income we currently have. How families that are worse off than ours are going to survive I have no idea.

Not wanting to lighten your mood but something caught my eye when myself/missus got our monthly energy bill-
due to the hot summer and not using as much as we used to,we are approx £380 in credit and looking at what they were going to originally charge us, over the course of 12 months would have come to over the £2500 cap limit-
BUT remember the cap limit is for just 6 months
Wonder what figures they want to come up with after March 2023

It's all good saying the tax burden is the highest in 70 years etc, but that's been the case for less than a year. in the 11 years prior the tax burden was nowhere near as high.

I though if a customer like yourself had built a large amount of credit by law they had to make the customer aware, my utility company told me I had a couple of years ago and they would send me money back but I asked them to reduce my monthly payments which they and I were happy to do.

I think there's 12bn they actually just straight up can't even account for, the vaccine bit was the only part they did right but dear god did they use the pandemic as an opportunity to enrich their mates, lest we forget the ppe contract that went to matt hancocks local pub landlord. Just matt hancock in general haha

    give it time

    that scares me tony

yes, statistics show an overwhelming majority of migrants are of net economic benefit to this country. If you also look at the changing demographics in terms of age, you will see we can't really be too picky. If you want a pension, support immigration. Given the rate our population is ageing it is that simple unfortunately.

Anyone before Cameron got in. Furlough etc was necessary and completely against every sinew of the conservatives' ideological being. They didn't want to do it and stopped it as soon as they could. However they were faced with complete economic collapse if they didn't so it's not exactly a difficult choice. When looked at against how much they've cut from everything though I don't think the cons are particularly generous at all. They now have said get ready for more austerity so will be taking even more from us.

I think we have reached the point where the conservative party is a threat to national security and economic stability in this country. Believe it or not Tony I do respect some conservative politicians despite disagreeing with them, however the current lot are just a right wing corbyn mob.

Its a while ago maybe before the situation was changed, I was more than happy to have a descent amount in credit just in case it was a bad winter and we had the heating on more.

Is that right? Seem to recall someone saying that it had steadily increased as a percentage of GDP for the last 30 years? It was on Twitter though so not the best source!

Every Labour Government since 1930 has presided over a financial crisis because of economic mismanagement. Labour was in charge during the financial crash of 2008 for example

Labour historically put up taxes hitting working people and entrepreneurs alike in their pockets.

Labour Government would be in thrall to woke ideology and union power. They would embrace crackpot groups like the eco-zealots who are trying to bring London and other cities to a standstill this month, stopping hard working people from going about their business.

If you think the Tory in-fighting is bad enough, wait until the left wing firebrands try to interfere with the Blair puppets in the centre.

Be careful what you wish for with a Labour government folks.

Bang on, it's clear the woke disruptive left is more of a danger to our culture and growth than any Tory actions or inactions in some cases ...

For the avoidance of doubt, I think that Maddie is a dysfunctional individual given her behaviour. I think it is totally uncalled for and is something I condemn. Thankfully she has little power/influence.

I also think that another dysfunctional individual behaviour is appalling and is totally uncalled for something I also condemn. Her name is Elizabeth Truss. Unfortunately she has too much power which influences my life in a negative way.

I denounce both and invite you Tony to show a balanced approach and also denounce both these people!
