I think at times (players who have had a poor first half) will be given the chance to redeem themselves and I can understand that, but as I say in todays modern game a couple of changes at half time can have a dramatic effect on teams and the manager still has other players he can bring on if required, but hey its the first points we've taken off Harrogate since they became a football league side, long may it continue.

Do we know the attendance, nothing on the bbc, or are they embarrassed by the final figure in their cup final.

I believe it was 2505 - officially 600 Bantams, however if you look at the clip of City's winner, you can see at least one City fan cheering in the away end

If that's true , half the stadium was empty. Surely they could have made room for a few more away fans. especially as a one of.

I’d rather him not leave but I’m far from worried, I’d much rather our players sought after than fans praying for the next transfer window to replace everyone.

A case in point, the leagues form team Leyton Orient had stats that would pretty much win you any game today. Yet the only stat that counts after the final whistle is the score line. Lost 2-1 to Newport. Crazy game this football.

Not a vintage performance by any means but a wins a win and how times over recent years have seemed high flying teams turn up to VP and not looked great by any means but did enough in the match to take away the 3 points. We do seem to have another gear or 2 within us so hopefully we're saving that for the business end. I'd also add I think Walkers return is going to be huge as he's a natural number 10 with midfield qualities we currently clearly lack, Chapman and co are just about dragging us through at the moment but he is hugely better out wide as it showed when he won us the pen today.

In Gent's interview with the T&A earlier in the season he used as an example of the work which goes on in planning future transfer windows he will be looking out for a replacement should too good an offer come in for Lewis, so it's clearly something they are aware could happen and (hopefully, by the sounds of it) are preparing for the eventuality already, which makes a huge difference to previous years

I don't think so, honestly, I think he's here for as long as Mark Hughes is here.

He seemed to come here for that exact reason.

Anyone else papping it because the GREAT Ollie Crankshaw returns to VP next week.

Probably the most dangerous attacking player outside the Premier League in many ways.

I think Lord Lucan is carrying an injury from a few games ago.

I'd like nothing more than your reasoning to be true, but as we are all well aware football is a fickle business and money talks, 1 game players are kissing the badge the next their refusing to play cos x club are interested. On the flip side I much prefer our players to be potentially attracting high up interest as it means City are doing well.

We do it to draw the opposition further up the field so we can find space behind. It worked for the second goal
