One or two of them you’d expect to go up as well, I was glad to see Sunderland promoted over Wycombe as it was becoming a bottle neck of big clubs flexing their muscles up there so the more that go up the better.

Just for clarity-I wasn't saying THIS squad would get us promoted out of league one. But the way we play and the tactical nouse of MH and better players would IMHO yield a positive outcome.

I’ll start by apologizing for seriously cropping your post but the bit I have used touches on a post I made earlier in this thread. About 16750 City fans, guessing at about 2500 extra pay on the days fans. We can reasonably expect that figure to rise if the form continues. Also still got a couple of teams will be bringing a decent following. I really do think that an average from here on of 18k City fans is on, I wonder what figure The club had in mind for POTD and visiting fans per game. Either way, it absolutely does open the January market up if it continues.

Possibly. Might well be gobbled up, at least partially, by fuel bills going through the roof. Depends on contract situation I suppose and any government support that may or may not be forthcoming.
It is certainly a positive thing though. Additional income always welcome.

That’s excellent stuff, however I did think we were closer to 15k seasons , but yes your point remains.
I asked @Bradford End@Bradford End for the current total last week I think?

Not sure what the rulebook says about long throw ins towards the goal, wondering if anybody knows?

I find it bloody frustrating, and none more so than on Saturday, the amount of time wasted on these. Refs certainly do not treat them as throw ins rather as corners; as soon as the player puts the ball under their shirt, the ref turns his back walks away and spends the next 90 seconds shepherding the players around the box. No attempt to hurry things on, no whistle, nothing.

I reckon Stevenage used up at least 10 minutes of the game on Saturday with this approach.

I personally wouldn’t change a thing because we are coping with it at the moment and teams may have to actually try to play FOOTBALL against us to try and beat us

I can understand it if you have a lad like Ben Tozer who can throw it to the penalty spot and further but most of Stevenages throw ins were no better than a poorly taken corner that doesn't clear the first defender.

agreed to a point but do you really think this team has really got going yet ???? I suggest we have been playing well within ourselves so once we do get going then we may look like a different team again

Yes Stockport should bring a good following taking their allocation.

Can we accomadate 2,000, in the past we have given large away followings the Midland Road stand I can't see that happening (and it shouldnt) what does the away section on Midland Road hold plus the Bradford End.

The Bradford end holds 1800 plus the 1200 in the Midland Rd stand so we can easily give them it

few empty seats near me but if it’s only a thousand or so it ain’t to bad compared to last season when they gave the attendance at 16k when it was less than half full

I would give away fans the midland road blocks only and get our supporters in the Bradford end . Stop this getting turned around rubbish, when we lose the toss. All clubs seem to have latched on to this.

surely the pitch on a big turntable would be better.
