Bank Holiday on the day of the funeral now as well, just need to announce what day that is now

 

I believe there'll be another one for the coronation of the artist formally known as Prince, unless they decide to do that on a weekend in which case, it could lead to further matches being postponed.
Actually scrap that, I've just seen it won't be until next spring or summer now, so they will probably use one of the existing May Bank Holidays.

 

But it is not that simple. The principle is that life for millions must stop has its ramifications. Many lower league clubs are struggling and rely heavily on Saturday fixtures. I am sure Mansfield are delighted that their rearranged fixture will attract 1000 less Bradford fans not to mention their suppliers, many of whom are family businesses and publicans. That is just one club. You keep mentioning respect but the fans would have shown this from every side of every ground in a show of togetherness. Also, all of us will show our respect in our own ways. I am sure that the funeral will attract the biggest viewing audiences of the year and not just in the UK. Virtually all of us are loyal and patriotic.

I was at the Leadmill in Sheffield last night, not one reference whatsoever to the Queens passing....

Again the government’s fault.

They won’t support industries.
