    Man U and West Ham games have gone ahead tonight. I don't see why games can't go ahead at the weekend with the usual marks of respect paid. Far better to do that than not have any games for 12 days and then have the minute or 2 minute silence and black arm bands at the next game to be played after that when everyone will be completely fed up of it.

    I think UEFA will have forced the games to go ahead tonight. Other sports have stopped, some in the middle of rounds

    Murmurings are both Man Utd and West Ham requested postponing the game and UEFA refused. They did agree to a minute's silence, to not play all the stupid anthems & other UEFA self-congratulatory pre-game stuff and to not have to show the required ads on the ad boards but that was about it

    That is what I thought would have happened. They do not like to cancel games as rearranging them can cause serious issues coordinating everything

    The football authorities will be discussing the extent of the postponements, tomorrow morning, with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

    As the link I posted earlier suggested, the pre-defined protocol would postpone the Mansfield Town (away), Tranmere Rovers (away) and Stevenage (home) matches.

    Think there are currently 4 BBC channels all showing same thing, BBC1, BBC2, BBC News and BBC Parliament with 3 and 4 off air. Not sure about Radio

    edit all BBC national radio are on the same thing too

    I am already. Life has to go on after one’s own personal reflection. Anything else feels like it’s being rammed down one’s throat. We all grieve in different ways but being told how to grieve and when is ludicrous. I’ll say no more as I don’t want to upset anyone.
