    Interesting that Jones mentions league 2 now. Prior to that article it seemed he would only send to league 1.

    If Luton can't accommodate Dion in their squad they would be stupid not to let him out on loan even if its only a matter of covering part of his wage.

    These kind of lads don't have a lot to gain from going on loan in the long term when they've got a year left on their contract. Wonder what he'd cost on the usual "undisclosed sum" side of things if a 2 or 3 year contract were to be offered.

    Someone said on here the other day that Luton were refusing to let Dion go out on loan until he signed an extension on his contract. If he has refused to do that (and quite frankly, I don't blame him), then Luton have even less to gain. That might make a permanent deal more do able, if Luton want to get something for him now and secure a percentage of any future sale rather than see him leave for nothing at the end of the season.

    That's what I've heard from my neighbour as well. Him and two others. The fans would be happy to see him given a chance. The feeling is he's just annoyed that he did OK in pre-season but got no game time. I can't see him happily playing for Jones in the future.
