Promotion winning team... Don't worry gents.

 

After a cracking start then instead of us taking control its Hartlepool who look the more dangerous going forward.

 

Colchester and Hartlepool will finish in the bottom five at the end of the season. Says it all that we are struggling against these teams

 

All the games so far have shown the same old Bradford City . We are not clinical enough in front of goal and then manage to concede soft goals to one of the opponents few attempts on target.

 

Prediction from me 1-3 City

Didn’t Hughes say after Colchester defeat we need to score first to control the game,well that seems not to be working.

 

Feckin' useless, slow, no heart or commitment, 'orrible to watch especially at this level.....

 

It's poor in the same ways as our other games really. Little sign of improvement. Our defenders all look fine when no one is inside 20 yards of them, passing it sideways, but they can't defend the actual penalty area. And going forward, it all flatters to deceive. Neat and tidy, but dull and ineffective. Few actual chances created.

A very underwhelming start to the season.

 

No mention of the lad Halliday at left back where we have conceded 2 simply worked headers at the Colchester and again today.

 

Same old same old slow play if in doubt play it back

Yet another season of a midfield who can't dominate anybody

Very very poor

 

We still lack team cohesion. The passing is not methodical we seem to be hurried all the time. Panic passing. We need to try to wrong foot them if we can.

 

He's not having a great game to be honest. He looks lost out on the left. Whenever he drifts inside he looks far more threatening

 

Halliday looks poor and Angol is just in the way.

 

Right back Broncs

 

We have a soft underbelly,a goalkeeper who likes to stay on his line and no dominant defender who’ll power head away a corner or free kick like McCardle or Davies used to. Or even Paudie who was much better at clearing his lines than the present two.

 

Sleeping.

What has the keeper got to do with it? I’ll have to see the replay but it was a floated cross to the BACK post!

 

To be honest Hartlepool are mixing the game up possesion and long ball, we're so predictable with the ball.
