Not according to the stuff we get fed out of Valley Parade they are group made decisions ( better not say commitee) Greg doesn't like that term.
With regards him not being in work I repeat he may have been asked to do a similar job at Doncaster, a coaches role and feels he doesn't want to work under those terms, I'm sure he's not short of a bob or two if you saw thd house he's selling in Scotland.

Things on the playing front may look less than inspiring at this pre season point, but as the players are the engine room of the Club, the onus for their development and performance lies directly on the initial judgement of Gregg ultimately. I don't have any desire to prejudge the man, but although the rebuild may give some latitude to him, I do want to see a positive influence of progression from last term more or less from the off. Backed by a relatively inexperienced Coaching setup, it will either be a master stroke of Edin's or a true misjudgement all round. The problem is that this whole turnaround requires patience and although I accept that for the longer term,I am also fearful that it may mask any underlying shortcomings that could be detrimental to our continuing progress. In opposition, is the fact that football is a results driven affair so we could well be in for a testing time!

 

Merely prempting what others clearly would do if I gave them time whilst, at the same time, highlighting the stupidity of whoever it is that responds to posts with 'WINNER'. (Ahem...that'll be you then Norm. Ed)

 

Agree @pns1945 we have to see how this season unfolds, let's hope the former is the case because if its the later I doubt if fans will be happy with a lower league finish or even worse to lose our league one status, unthinkable after the last 6/7 years of hard work.
