    Much to my surprise the Colchester match us on ifollow.
    I almost booked to go, but getting a bit old to be getting in past 1.30 am then up at the crack of dawn to look after 4 year old grandson.

    I think this is a good option.

    In League One and League Two, there are six sets of midweek fixtures which will be streamed by Clubs, excluding Sky Sports selections.

    I really did think about it. In the past I might have combined it with a trip to visit Mum in Chelmsford but she died last November so sadly not possible now.

    No you didn't Kevin, no need for apologies. Mum had suffered very much in the last few years with dementia and it was a relief in the end. She had a good long life for the first 86 of her 89 years and a life to celebrate.
    Anyway I am now retired and a 12 hour round trip with little sleep followed by childcare is now beyond me!!

    It’s a long way and not easy to get to from Bradford for sure. Once did it myself on a coach 70’s (?) . I don’t blame you, especially as it can be watched on the box.

    Oh I know where it is BB.
    Bradford would be M62, A1M A1, M11 ( ball ache and my ex local motorway) A120 past our old village and the rest on to Colchester . 240-50 miles perhaps?

    It was awful in the old days agreed.

    Due to living t'up dales and work commitments meant that for a few years iFollow was the only way I got to watch mid-week games.
    It took COVID for City (and other clubs) to cotton on to the potential revenue that could be gained from iFollow.
    I got an email from the club today promoting the live stream for this game. Good to see the club trying to maximise revenue from what is a game the vast majority of fans would not contribute anything to the club's coffers.

    Likewise. I might have combined it with a visit to my mum in Grays but, sadly, no longer possible.
    What's really annoying is that two of my mates from Bedford are going, as is my son and a couple of his mates from London. I could have gone down early and stayed overnight with my son. Unfortunately, I have a long-booked health appointment in Bradford, at 9am the morning after the match, so that puts the tin lid on it.
