What is it with the layout of the seats at either end of F Block? Are they trialing wider seat spacing for the wider fan? If so maybe make bigger shirts too 4942800D-B308-4D24-8DCA-0F97035C8A78.jpeg

how does an extra couple of inch gap each side of second seat on the row help security?

They are a tad larger than the average fan perhaps?

Who knows how their minds work. How much did the shiny new seats in the TL Dallas that don't get sat on cost

Sometimes the correct answer can be the simplest. Maybe it wasnt intentional but the new seats are wider than the old ones which mean too much concrete space on either end, so just just had no option but to leave a slight gap.

that would mean the capacity is creeping lower as new seats are installed

Oh dear, can't wait for "ticketgate" mark 10 when we need to win the last home match to become Champions and the I'm Uber brigade have snapped up all the spare tickets for their mates.

Nothing, apparently. I read somewhere they were funded by one of the sponsors.

Someone suggested Macron was paying , but I can’t see it if there isn’t Macron lettering involved. Perfect advertising in front of the cameras?

If it is for the plus-size supporter then that would be utterly hilarious / ridiculous.

Imagine how badly they'd stand out. All our larger fans on 2 columns on the end of a block. We'd be ridiculed by away fans. :joy:

No doubt they will have come to install seats and were getting to the end of installation and realised they were a number of seats short, so they just made the gap slightly wider to hide the missing seats.

Either that or they plan a new tea bar at that end of the ground for the "big boned"

They would be fine. Just stick a pie stand next to those seats so they eat them all

When Man City played at Maine Road, I was next to a guy who's seat didn't have a bottom to it. He asked the steward if he could have 50% of his ticket money back for only having half a seat.

They use to be offset, so that you had a vertical W pattern. I would think so that there was a slight gap straight in front of the seat. When they put the new seats in they just aligned them all from the steps, so there was slightly more space at the end of the rows.
