This works for me. I was saying the other day that 2 strikers in (assuming we keep Wyke) would be perfect. One young premier league loanee and hopefully buy another who has a bit more pedigree is a realistic approach.

I’m not sure how that could happen. In 6 months he can sign elsewhere for free. He will leave. Edins in it to make money. Reinvest in youth. Make more money. Etc.

 

6 months? How do you work that out?

 

Yes and while Edin keeps looking at the profit and loss, we end up getting relegated due to selling our best players, their investment will lose considerable value. They have to invest to make money, regardless of our youth policy, that is long term

I was replying to another post where Alex said he hopes we keep Wyke. I was agreeing and stating the plan if we did.

He can not sign for anyone for free until end of the season. If he is going abroad he could sign a pre-contract in January but I can not really see if signing for a foreign team.

 

We’ve only had two friendlies and he played the first one.
