It was a clear red card! Ref bottled it massively.

Up to the injury we were doing everything right and looked dangerous every time we broke, some of the refereeing calls were weird to say the least,
It's not the end of the world by any means.

He rushed the decision. Could he not have consulted the lino first?

Donny were not awful. People need to start understanding and understand quickly that it’s up to us being at home with this big crowd to start moving the ball faster and break teams down.

A point for the away team at VP is a good result.

The omens don’t look good for Donny on that showing. Tomlin what a waste of a wage.

Got to say I thought their fans were piss poor other than the fact they turned up they didn't really create any kind of atmosphere. May have just been down to how the match started I guess.

I honestly don't see them being top 7. They were very organised defensively and did a good job on Oliver today. They are going to need much better than Miller and Tomlin up top. Tomlin looked like they'd stopped at a pub on the way and asked one of the regulars if they fancied a game so he downed his pint, scoffed his pie went in the toilets to get changed, borrowed some boots, jumped on the team bus and ate a few mars bars on the way!

The ref was premature in giving yellow at any point during the 9 mins of stoppage time could have consulted his linesman and 4th official to get their opinion and upgraded the yellow to a red on reflection of the seriousness of the injury.

The red card that was (in game time) looked very weird. Why would an experienced 33-year-old player do something SO stupid - twice - to get himself sent off? Mmmm. Interesting.

Ha ha, big fat lazy lump that waddled around. God knows what he was doing diving for the card. Someone said earlier match fixing. It makes you wonder……

He was and I'm sure he knew it. Said the same in the car he should have given himself time to calm down and talk to the linesman. It happened in front of us and you could see it was broken when he lifted his leg and the way it was dangling. The ref was behind the tackle too so probably couldn't see just how bad it was.

Feel very sorry for Paddy hope he can make a full recovery!

Think the manner of the game was more frustrating than the actual result.

We see teams come to VP, park the bus and shithouse their way to at least a point every year and its disappointing that we still let these absolutely garbage teams get away with it. Even with eleven men, Donny were an absolute disgrace with no intention to play football. That carthorse they brought on up front was comically bad.

Onto us, we looked every inch a side with 8 debutants. Moved the ball too slowly, movement was limited and passing was sloppy. Don't think the diamond worked at all so would hope we go with some width next week.

Feel really sorry for Osadebe, a bright pre season and yet his season lasts all of five minutes. Hope he gets the support he needs.

Border, I have to agree - WHY would he do that? He's 33, not a headstrong kid. And it all looked so deliberate. Get booked for preventing a free kick. And then immediately, he does the same thing again, KNOWING he'll get sent off with a second yellow. Just looks very dodgy.

By the way, I don't think he was sent off for the theatrical dive after Walker bumped into him - it was for the second instance of kicking the ball away AGAIN after having just been booked for the same offence. Like I said earlier, for such an experienced player, WHY would he do that?

The lino must have had an excellent view.
