There was a priority scheme. It cost £100.
I was also at Sunderland also and it’s possible it wasn’t full but more than 500 there.

I was wondering how many tickets were put on sale yesterday? All of them or just the number matching people with 940 points.

It wouldn't matter would it? Either way everyone with 940 points had a chance to get a ticket.

I would imagine all of them but at 1 per person, otherwise what would be the point in doing the sale that way.

Yeah probably, which means out of 500 people who had enough points , not all can or wanted to attend.

It's not a strange concept. If you can't make the game you don't buy a ticket even if you are entitled to do so.

For all the loyalty points fall out, I notice that the Cup game v Hull has been reduced to lower tier only on the ticketing website. Ticket sales must be really slow for that to happen. C block in the main stand hasn't even sold 1/4 of it's seats yet.

Twitter is an awful way of keeping things updated. Follow more than 50 people and your time line is so bombarded re retweets and rubbish that its almost impossible to pick out a single post from the others.

I was surprised I could get tickets in what is normally considered a prime spot.

Just think back to how it used to be. Ticket news was detailed in the match day programme. Look at an old programme from the late 90s.

I guess social media is how the club get ticket news out initially so that word of mouth then kicks in. It's either that or pressing refresh on the club website 50 times a day.

I went on to the website to double check my loyalty points and found that they'd been reduced from 910 to 890. So I rang the ticket office just now and was told that there has been a system glitch which has incorrectly removed the points from one game. I was told that this is being fixed and the correct points should be back on again shortly.
So if you're wondering why your points have gone down, this is the explanation

You are right, I hadn't noticed but I have had 20 points dumped off myself.

I'm guessing it is the Exeter City FA cup game.

Yeah but it also allays some fans fears that it would become a closed shop, assuming all top points holders would always buy a ticket.
This proves they aren’t and opens the door for others to catch up, especially if they attend unpopular away games

Or attend home games, such as Hull City as said in my post. The ticket sales for this game against a championship club look dire, yet we have people moaning about not qualifying for an away game.

Thanks Offy. I logged on this morning and had 930 so purchased 1 ticket for Barrow. Went in a bit later and only had 910 - I didn't think my 'loyalty' was that bad that I'd bought a ticket and had my points taken off!!! Thought it was some cunning method to reduce all the super loyal uber fans like Loyalbantam to mere mortals like the rest of us!!

Lol, they could take 200 off me and I’d still have more than you. In fact I might change the name to superloyalbantam

I've been on the website again today and my points have also gone down again, to 850. So I've lost 60 points in total.
I rang the ticket office and was again told that they are working on rectifying the fault.

As it stands, I can't buy a Barrow ticket, which are currently set at 910 points, which is my original points total. All very frustrating. They need to sort this out and get it stabilised quickly if this loyalty scheme is going to work.

This is the problem , there is no way of tracking we’re your at or if caps have been added . They seriously need to look into something along the lines of what England have -

You can see the game we’re your caps has been added and then you can also see where you stand in the table Of points

A ticketing shitshow, who expected anything different?

I'm away for the Barrow game, but if I were able to buy tickets then logged in to find I had lost 60 points from yesterday (which I had done) and it prevented me from getting tickets, i would not be too happy.
