He is leaving us to become the lead coach at Man United.

Shame but inevitable that he would appear on the radar of clubs higher up. Good luck to him.

Well done Martin. Great to see his coaching career wasn’t held back by Edin’s poor decision.

sounds like he’s done a cracking job here. Good luck.

Good luck to him. He clearly does a very good job with the youngsters and thankfully for him hasn't been scarred by Rahic

Good luck to him. It's his niche and he's good at it. Perhaps a route to use getting some loan players when they reach maturity ?

To think that so many on here pointed the finger at him and his ability when things were going so badly wrong here. Good luck to him on what is a huge step up in his career coaching some of the worlds best prospects.

Would City be entitled to any compo?

It's an odd thing amongst city fans, blame an assistant manager if things go wrong. Weren't McCall's failings during spell number one down to having Wayne Jacobs has his assistant in some eyes

You have to say Edin must have seen something in the lad. Good luck Martin, how about a loan or two?

Who are the posters who angrily ask if he's still at the club whenever we hit a bad run of form going to blame now?

Nah he wasn’t ready for what was asked of him. No one doubted his ability to coach youth players.

    Good luck to him.

Good on him. Maybe it'll help us secure the odd youth loan or two, or possibly pave the way for a lucrative youth transfer to them.

Amended your punctuation to make it read how you meant. Didn't your school teach you about commas ?

Coaching kids is far different to coaching seasoned pro's, but all the best to the lad.
