Be careful ... not everyone agrees with 442

It's not that I don't agree. I just can't see MH using it.
    Maybe with the diamond?
But then your fullbacks are exposed.
You can't dominate possession and be outnumbered in centre of midfield.

Id literally never heard of him. Escaped my gaze these last 2 seasons despite a few goals.

His ariel dual record was best in England last term. By some distance.

That depends on the quality of your centre two. In the 84/85 side & again in 98/99 I dont recall our midfield being dominated and they were both 442. That said, most teams played 442 then so it's probably a poor analogy.

Most teams play with a three in centre midfield now.
    Either 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 3-5-2.
    The games moved on.

Play a 4-4-2 and you're probably looking at 45% possession of the ball.

Exactly why I said it was a poor analogy

MH seems very keen on controlling the game with possession.
I can't see us playing wing backs, so the other alternative is a diamond in midfield but the full backs are exposed then.
I think we'll be mainly 4-2-3-1 but what do I know.

Me too, with two players wide who can make it 433 when we have a hold on the game. In fact, I think there are times when the shape could almost drop into a 424 rather than Deluded's default 4/5/1 or 5/4/1

That is because you missed a previous post. If you like to make fun of someone, make sure you know what you are talking about first. Also make sure that your own spellig is correct. The word to only has one o.

Not crying at all. Just pointing out that if you enjoy taking the piss out of folk, you should first ensure that it is not you that becomes the victim.
