I don't care if it's pre-season and these matches tell you nothing !? I tell you what they tell me ..if we cannot string together a performance sufficient to worry Guiseley or York ?! Then there's bugger all chance we will be troubling the likes of Shrewsbury or Sunderland ?! This group of players is inexperienced and poor. . Abbott & The Cones Out or we are in for a stinker of a season !

 

Ain't going to no friendlies or buying merchandise ( as I don't like em). Money spent elsewhere!

I'm not sure it matters who is appointed on the management team at this moment in time.

 

We need an identity.
We need a set formation.
We need legs and pace to get round a pitch for 90odd minutes.
We NEED INVESTMENT.

 

You’re in for a long wait cos the club apparently has no money to spend.

 

The thing for me is the attacking intent in both games has been poor. Yeah it's only preseason yes it's about fitness but it makes you wonder what they have been doing in training for 3 weeks to show the very little intent in either game. We could have lost 7-3 But at least you could see there was something to work on. It just all seems very very flat

 

You need reporting to the relevant authorities why would you put your son in that position. Shame on you.!!!!!!!!

 

Anyone can dress this up as much as they like but this is at best a disappointing result following on from Tuesday,
Sheffield is all important now, and at least a good performance is required if we cannot produce a result.It is essential for confidence not only of the fans in the management, but the players confidence as well in the management team,

How did we get on last pre-season?

 

We got pissed in Germany

 

We have an Identity but it's no longer recognisable under the new regime.
Last I heard Collins prefers 3,5,2.
That's up to the German fitness coach.
Investment, we have had investment alright it's green with white markings and includes a fabulous drainage system underground and out of site.

for a team of what we were told was full of pace with Hunger and enthusiasm there was very little of that on show only a few promising moments from seedorf and the No 7 in the first half, the rest of the time we were making 5-10 yard passes between ourselves in midfield and getting no where in the offensive section of the field.
the trialist keeper in the second half was far too small and lacked any physical presence and if other posters are correct with the other trialist being Colville he was largely ineffective and didn't show up well against 6 tier footballers
