The way I see it. If we keep the squad as it is, we’ll be mid table as we won’t score enough goals.

If we can sign 1 or 2 strikers and keep Wyke then maybe we can push on to the top half.

Lose Wyke and don’t sign anyone, then I think we’ll be bottom half.

No shots and only got into their box twice. How does our new coach hope to score goals when all we did in the second half today was pass the ball sideways in defence and midfield. There was no attempt to go forward at all. We could have all gone home at half time. I know it’s only a friendly and the result doesn’t matter but let’s make some effort to score.

 

No strikers on the pitch and you'll struggle to score against anyone.

 

The result doesn't matter in pre season but the performance does.

I think it was a bit more than that Park, as MC said "I would be very worried if we were in this position when season starts" and "I'll be confident IF we get in the players we have targeted". Both of these comments are applicable to 3 weeks time as the season starting and the transfer window closing are both on this timescale. As I said therefore there is a lot that still needs to happen - I believe Charlie has a slight injury and probably wouldnt have played today no matter what but do you honestly believe this is the only reason? If he does leave us we hardly have a goal in the club on what we have left - I think this is a justifiable concern with time getting ever tighter. Be interesting to see what today produces at York in terms of chances, attempts and, dare I say it, goals
