    I'm not necessarily against signing him as his record last 2 years is good, but I just don't think he really improves us.
    He's certainly wouldn't be the marquee or an exciting signing that has been touted on here all week

    is there any confirmation that the player we are interested in is indeed the tall lad from Gills?

    even if that is the case, id be happy with that. an out an out target man. Would help get the best out of the likes of Young & Harratt

    My response was relative to @HUDDERSSBANTAM@HUDDERSSBANTAM comment regarding Cook never playing in League One. But as we know, during Cook’s only season in League One, he notched 18 goals in all competitions.

    Might be reading into it and going way off, but on twitter yesterday or the day before there was a mini interview with Songo'o and Osadebe in a swimming pool and he said they've been learning the new system the manager wants us to play. All last season it was 4231 under Hughes, wonder if he thinks goals are the way out the league and is going 2 up top and wants one more forward, rather than shipping one out?

    Tranmere fans seem to believe Oliver was on trial with them for the first week back of training.

    Well if Long has signed for Reading, there's nothing on their web site about it, neither is there anything on their fans forum either.
    I would have thought that there would have been some sort of an announcement?
