We wouldn't carry 5 first team CB's + Staunton and FCD surely?
That would be strength in depth!

 

Songo, Odusina, Platt, Critchlow surely enough....with one of Staunton or Finn as cover if needs must. Even then we have Foulds if we are extremely short.

 

If we put together a number of reports from local papers, it looks like both Kellerher and Threlkeld will be leaving before end of August.
Also from the way Songo'o was talking in his interview about learning the new system we are looking to implement then i'm thinking 3 at the back.

Agreed, Only way I can see another CB coming in is if we shift Kelleher & Songo'o.

 

Why would you have FCD or Foulds looking to play CB??
This is that whole attitude of use what we have rather than go and get better.

FCD was a centre back in the youth team. Carrying 5 first team CB's for two spots is bonkers.

Did well at Gillingham. Wanted a move back up north. Originally from Sheffield I think.
1 in 3 for Gillingham in League 1, not bad at all.

 

Youd have to wonder how Eisa and Chapman fit into that system mind.
