I liked him when he was here, but I'm not certain he's now needed.

 

On 10 June 2020, Sharp signed a new two year contract keeping him at the club until the summer of 2022, unfortunately a none starter.

 

I suppose nothing will happen til they return from Spain. When they back?

 

Can't see Hughes bringing in anyone, wether PL or otherwise, who won't be 100% fit for purpose. Strikers will score if fed properly and I still maintain that a strong engine room is vital and would not dismiss a further experienced addition in there.

 

Friday i think the T&A said. It's the Derby friendly at VP next Saturday.

Yer, chap just moved in down the road from me is a Hatters season ticket holder. He and others were hoping that Dion would kick on this year and they'd start to see him getting a run of games and having an impact - they often play with an attacking 2 or 3 behind a front 1.

Interestingly there is some kind of view that Dion wants to go back out on loan rather than staying at Luton. He didn't know why but a few other fans say it.

They're not exactly flush of attacking midfielders but there's a couple who play the same role as Dion so he and others reckon that one will stay and the other two will go on loan. They did kind of expect Dion to stay this season though.

 

Nobody mentioned the possibility of only having half a team if the ride share crew from the north east get caught in a traffic jam on the way down to the match yet. Another reason not sign any more from up there.
