    He certainly did. Mark Hughes must still have nightmares about him. Stoke paid £12,000,000 for him after chasing him for an age. So dreadful was he at The Potters they released him with three years left on his contract. He's been trying to get his career back on track for the last three years but without much success. Darren Moore had worked with Berahino at WBA where the young man had his best period. He brought him in last summer but after one season he wasn't offered another contract at Wednesday. He might do a decent job at League Two level but it's unlikely to be under Mr Hughes.
