Struggled a bit last year by the look of it but 13 in the SPL the year before isn't an horrendous return.

 

Methinks there will be alot more positive forward runs making themselves available for Hendrie-ball this coming season.

 

Not when you have had two shocking seasons it’s not.

The thing here Fordy is , its a new start for all teams. Just because you had a poor season last year, does not mean you will have one this and vice versa.
We already have a younger faster looking squad than last season , with a good bit of experience in there in Cook ,Doyle , Smallwood , Rideaugh, Walker, Sonogo. I think we will improve our league standing vastly, if its enough to gain promotion who knows. same for all teams . I just have the feeling we will be up there.

Owners can put money in to the club to increase turnover to stay within the limits.

 

Possibly, I just don’t know what MH has in mind for him. He can play all over the place!

 

I don't expect we will, we won't have the biggest budget but we do seem to be able to generate enough income to maintain a decent top 7 budget without taking on much (if any) debt or relying on Stefan for handouts.

I'll be honest, this season is not a time to take a gamble because the division looks unusually strong at the top end. Salford, Mansfield and Stockport are all loaded, Crawley will be flexing their muscles and we're probably going to have a decent budget to play with. Donny must surely be eyeing an immediate return to L1 and Gills are usually good value in this division. Add in Tranmere and Swindon who probably have decent budgets and the likes of Newport and Northampton who might be slightly less flush but will still be expecting to be in an around the top 7 and that's a lot of teams with a realistic eye on promotion and that's not including the inevitable dark horses who might be about to have an unexpectedly good season. Anyone throwing an extra £1-2mil at the budget this summer is taking a huge risk this season because the competion is so strong.

 

I don’t post on Twitter for my own sanity but the Crawley owners seem to be asking fans who they should sign next. Can the Tweeters on here go convince them to sign Kelleher and Threlkeld for 6 figure’s each and tell them they’re their soccer teams big rival players, they’re American they’ll probably fall for it

 

What a ridiculous state of affairs. Why have coaches and managers, just pick players, teams and tactics by Twitter…..idiots!

Guessing his dig about football clubs with no history spending silly money is aimed at Salford and Crawley, but at least Watt just left for the new coach and challenge….

 

His comments that they couldn't compete with us suggests we have a very healthy budget.
Maybe Rupp has put his hand in his pocket.

 

But who have they recruited which makes you think they will finish top 7? Asking for a friend?

 

Im not comvinced. I wouldnt rule it out though.
