    I know we'll have people reverting to the lazy 'League Two is the khazi division and everyone is shit' mentality, but the league looks tough next year.

    Even Walsall, who aren't one of the better teams, look like they can put a decent XI out next season after their busy recruitment.

    I think there are at least 12 decent teams.

    Looks strong happy with our recruitment. Think Barrow will do better than people expect they have a manager who did really well with Halifax last season. I would be happy with top half for us don't expect to struggle as we have retained all of our players bar 1 and added decent quality. Smallwood is a very good player saw him a few times for Hull

    McCall was awful at recruitment but it was Gary Bowyer who wasted the pre season friendlies with stacks of trialists including Norty Norty. Recruitment seems so much more professional now

    I’m not too sure Barrow will do that well, their recruitment hasn’t been that great, same for quite a few teams in League 2.

    To be fair Parky never really utilised the friendlies too much baring maybe one or two. he’d just fill in the teams with trialists. The only one I ever remember us signing was De Vita

    Its not about how much emphasis you put on the pre season friendlies, its about all the other shit you do in the background. Recruitment, Training, Tactics, Systems etc

    Adams made use of the friendly games to some extent an he was shit

    True. If we have 1 or 2 tomorrow then fair enough. Wouldnt expect anything more than 19/20 year olds though or some unknown foreigner.

    Didnt we have a couple against Brentford a few months ago. Anything become of it?
