    The idea is to develop young players around senior pros, part of the younger players development is gaining knowledge from the senior players. Although possibly a decent signing, I would argue that Ched's incarceration mean't he's not as experienced as others his age!

    He’s better than anything we have in the squad. Unless you have some info that we are going to sign soemone else that has played at Championship level.

    His best achievements in no particular order are 10 in 28 in the Championship, 9 in 34 in the Championship, 35 in 42 in league 1, 25 appearences for Man City in the Premier League as well as getting capped 13 times for his country. When he's playing well he's clearly a class above at this level and I have no idea how you would look at his track record and think otherwise.

    That's a rather presumptuous statement Roger.He may of been but Sheffield don't rate him if they want him out.We have experience of bringing in players on "past" reputations,"toothpaste" for example,so this may be a wrong move if he has done nothing recently.

    Aren't the two Sheff Utd owners bickering in court over the budget?

    I suspect Wilder needs to get a few players out the door who aren't going to feature, like Hanson & Evans.
