Recall the little shop at the back of the Old main stand before 11.5.85 where you could by programmes and other merch. You couldn't swing a cat round in there.

 

Got an email from Royal Mail saying they have my parcel and may deliver tomorrow or Wednesday so that's been fast! Hopefully yours will get there by Saturday.

Used to love going in there and picking up City's previous away game programme if I hadn't been to the match. If I recall the tiny shop was mainly stocked with old programmes which you could view as they were stacked on shelves behind the counter. There were a few other items such as key rings and scarves and bobble hats. Don't ever recall them selling replica kits in those days though?

I got my first one from that shop. There was an elderly lady working there, and as we’d moved away from Bradford, I used to write to her with my order (and cheque), and she’d send a written note back with the goods, telling me how things are going and all the best and all that. I was 12, so maybe they just did junior replica stuff? It came as a set with socks and shorts. Probably for about £30 all in.

Scarves, to include the “College “ striped version, ties, key rings, embroidered blazer badge ( I had one sewn on my scarf) and get this…City rattles! Plus as you say programmes.

There was the Bay City Roller “ round the wrist” , a tad girlie ( not sexist before anyone kick off)
The one I remember and used at home round the neck and folded “ cravat style”
Then no identification whatsoever away…easier to get in the away end!

Probably will be released in stages over the pre-season as the other kits get released. Unless they just made these for the players to wear for announcements this jacket and t-shirt still have to be added to the club store.

 

Anyone bought a kids set? Trying to find out sizing for the 5/6 yr old set
