Deffo buying this seasons home kit.

 

I don’t understand why they don’t produce a “fans fit”. Not just Macron, but all the shirt producers. Fans don’t need figure hugging aerodynamics on the terrace or in the pub. Don’t need anti wicking properties either. They’d sell much more (and probably make money as these shirts should in theory be cheaper to make) than just producing skin type fits for professionals.

 

Despite being formed 17 years before you, we adopted your colours 10 years after you were formed. So you only wore em for 10 years exclusively. Also the same palette has been used for Rome since ancient times, they were formed in 1927 however.

 

Sounds like a excellent pre season tournament in rome. Away shirts only mind

 

A bit disappointed with this...surely a lick of paint on the exposed brickwork steps/railing and loading doors would help. Maybe yet to finish but for publicity reasons at least someone could have dug up the weeds!

The previous club shop was perfect . Presume this has now been leased out too someone else ?

 

We were renting the shop across the road brought back onto house and saving on rent.

Who were we renting it off, the building was bought back by Rhodes and Lawn along with the school. Did this get sold on again or are we paying rent to them? I remember the big fanfare when it was announced how it would save the club lots of money not having to pay rent on the school when the deal was done.

 

Not sure who owned it but I was told the shop was being brought back to its previous location across the road, at one time it was a gym, I was not aware that building was part of the deal Rhodes and Lawn bought you may be correct.

 

Bring back Campbells bar....

 

We train at a school apparently.

 

The steps pictured were the only official entrance to the club for players staff, visiting dignitaries etc when I was a kid. The shuttered area to the right was the original shop. One door and one small window. It was tiny.
