I haven't read the WOTP article @Ricky@Ricky but find it rather strange that although it's. been posted several times about the cash flow stiuation on C&B and on here resently some fellow posters are then suprised when WOTP write similar comments.
Stefan is not prepared to be Bradford City's sugar daddy and has told Edin we have to finance ourselves, as a club things that are being said are very worrying, staff are well aware of the current financial situation and their jobs being on the line.

There are fellow posters as you say Ricky who hear things about our club that may not be what other fellow Bradford City fans want to hear or possibly believe I don't believe for one minute things are posted so they can say they are in the know or for attenton seeking, I'm sure they would rather be posting we are in for top class players and the owners are prepared to finance a promotion push ETC.

They need to stop having James mason doing all the public stuff

Get Edin and Stefan to do it

Cash flow is a problem in every business nowadays
However with a good business plan and borrowing against assets this can be overcome in the short term
At the moment the club don't appear to have either not the fault of the non playing staff who may well have to suffer
You can only go on so long cutting costs before you cut yourself

We were (allegedly) putting in bids for players in Jan.
So, (if what you say is true) the question is what has prompted Stefan to get cold feet and turn off the tap?

    Entirely agree
James Mason is a likable guy who has the club at heart
But he can only say what he is told to say
Feel a bit sorry for him torn between the club he loves and tellling it as it is
I too would like to see Edin and Stefan be a more public face in promoting our club

Because truth be told they expected bids for wyke to cover outlay costs but it didn't happen.

They thought they’d get £5million for a player they bought for £250k a year before

Be lucky to get our money back
Unless another L1 club(think at the moment that's his level) realise he needs a skillful striking partner who makes space and plays off him Not to mention a left winger
Lots on here new that before the season started but hey ho we are only fans

He could play in the championship I think and he would score goals.
he just needs decent service. Wyke looks like a differant player since January in my opinion it looks like his head has gone and he’s wanting out of the club

Could be right wouldn't blame him wanting out
It's plain to see that the successful City teams of the past have had a big striker and a skillful partner but that's not the way the club sees it no wonder confidence and enthusiasm is at an all time low

Karma is hitting the chairmen, All this mess is their fault, They have turned the fans against them, The massive drop of income (STsales) is down to them.

Sell Wyke and we're relegated imo. It's not easy or cheap to replace a striker who has scored 17 goals for a mid table side. If last summer is anything to go by, I do not trust the owners one bit to replace wyke with anyone of the same standard.

I have read the WOAP article ...... twice.
What is the real problem, or issue here ?

As @Bronco@Bronco posted earlier ........ WOAP have not really posted anything that we haven't discussed either on here, or C&B. So I am no further ITK or educated in all things BCAFC. What I do see is ........... A club with lower that anticipated ST sales, cutting it's cloth accordingly.
OK, so it's not great ...... far from it. But it's not all doom and gloom, either. How would you consider ST sales at MK Dons and Bury have gone, so far ?? Infact, any ST sales outside the current top 6 teams ?
This is our first real setback for about 6 years ........ So there is / was always going to be some financial effect which would hurt our Club. We've been here before, and YES, we'll be here again at various times in the future.
Let's just allow the final curtain to fall, on this season - and see for sure what happens in close season, rather than blindly assume, or speculate. :)

The fair weather fans who have skulked back from whence they came you mean.
You support the club, not the owners and the resultant drop in income and potential job losses is almost as much their fault as it is the owners.

The owners have screwed up and we don’t know what their plans are, but the investment in pitch is a good thing, let’s hope they invest in the first team with real quality. If they’re not prepared to do that, then maybe they’ll sell up if they can find a buyer.

Here comes another on a cloud.

So within 2 years of taking over the club you think staff worrying about their futures is a good sign?

Wasn't these owners meant to take us to the PL. How is that going to happen when they can't afford to run the club?

As you say at the moment the club have very few assets, and as we know usualy when a business has money problems the easiest thing to do is sack staff and expect the remaining staff to take on extra duties.

I've never had or run a business @Bantamsteve@Bantamsteve so I'm verh much of the opinion of those who have and have made a sucsess of it would (in the case of purchasing Bradford City) not start buy changing a wnning formula that had served us so well during the Parkinson area.
They must have known there are only 23 home games where they have to generated most of the clubs finance. the likes of suite hospitality being a way of generating extra finances, plus the fact football can be so cruel your season can be reiuned with a couple of long term injuries and with there now being no emergancy loans you have to battle on until the next transfer window.

LOL. Firstly, I'm not on any cloud - but a realist. Give me proof, Fordy - and I will believe. ;)

WHERE oh WHERE did I say job loses were good ?? Did I even mention jobs ?? YOU did ! I didn't.

As for the PL ........ Did our Chairmen say that would be next season ? NO.

Enjoy the rest of your day, bud. :)

Look at Wolves owners they’ve taken 3 years , but they are Chinese billionaires and have Ronaldos agent on the board
