Wish him all the best. Not consistent enough over the piece for me but did link up well with Ridehalgh down the left at times.

 

I wish him all the best, on his day a good 4th tier player, shows how bad we are that some on here think this is a disaster.
For 75% of his City tenure he was Meh, played well under Hughes at the end of the season, against teams with nothing to play for on nice fast pitches. Not good enough for me if we’re looking at a top 3 finish.

Big loss imo, Hughes knew what he was getting with him , it appears was finally getting the best from him (making him one of best attackers in the league) , and wanted to keep him.

Will be harder to replace than Paudie and personally I don’t feel confident the Chapman signing is an upgrade, Shrews and Burton are both pretty shit in L1 and he has been released by Blackburn. Doesn’t strike me as a cv to go mad over.

 

As I indicated earlier , this deal has been completed for at least two weeks if not longer.

The club who promote crowd numbers as an incentive for players to sign.
Notwithstanding I appreciate Lincoln is an appealing move for him.

He would have been a great loss in terms of attacking ability had Chapman not signed. Now I feel we have upgraded CV-good business all round for the club.

 

Good luck to Vernam. Lincoln have signed two of our better players from last season. But we did finish 14th in L2. Vernam showed flashes of brilliance but overall possibly due to injury and appalling management his time here was average. I’m not gutted by this. It’s a blow but doesn’t feel catastrophic.

 

So go by supporters opinions then. Many say far better than league 2. The CV is far superior to Vernham s. Did I want Vernham to stay. Yes. Chapman could be an upgrade
