No sour grapes from me. He fulfilled his contract and always gave 100%. He's moved up a league; good luck to him. I just don't rate him highly. Watt and Vernam will be bigger losses.

Surely Platt is effectively Canavan's replacement and East and Paddy are Cooke and Evans replacements?

I can’t see Platt coming here to sit on the bench when Barrow didn’t want to lose him and he was a certain starter there. We have Foulds, Staunton and Kelleher as back up CBs already, and Songoo will be first name of teamsheet based in his displays late season IMO.

do agree another CM is likely. We need some steel.

 

We haven’t seen that Foulds nor Stanton could capably cover CB have we ?Has any manager in the last 12 months used them in that position? I don’t see it personally ?
