    Not a rumour , but i wouldnt mind either of Chris Gunter , Ryan Broom or Jonny Williams . Or all of them , come to that I know i'm biased , and haveny mentioned it for a week

    Totally agree Botswana - it's 'the build up of positivity' that is key. Not just to maximizing ticket sales but also creating a buzz around Hughes and his new (and old) players, the fans and the club in general.

    Wow, if that's right players agents are winning the war this season. No disrespect to Wootton who's obviously a decent player. But five grand a week - really? He's played 230 times, the majority in non-league - and a good few of those below the National League - and scored just shy of 70 goals. To use an old Frasier reference, he's no Renata Tibaldi.

    21 goals in 47 appearances this season, and obviously Stockport played against him, so they'll have a better idea of what he's good at other than scoring goals.

    Should be a good, solid signing.

    Would rather them both than Paudie and Watt, both would be an upgrade imo. But still they’re the type of signings I’ll have to see to believe as I’d be shocked if they were looking at league 2 level.

    Smallwood has been top end of league 1/ bottom end of championship for a while.
    Odusini was outstanding when we played Hartlepool

    They would be impressive signings.

    So we've gone from rumours that both are already in the bag to we are trying hard for them both.

    Alarm bells for me this morning when reading Sparks 'we aren't in the passenger seat, we are in control of the situation' with regards to the out of contract players. I really hope I'm wrong but it reminded me very much of the 'there's no way we are letting Vaughan go for free, and certainly not to a rival' comment that he made just before that's exactly what happened.

    Well we may have them in the bag, could be a red herring....Odusini rumours wont go away.

    As for the out of contract players, think we have replacements lined up. Think thats what Sparks may mean.
