    Surely 50/1 odds for three promotions in a row is a bit poor unless someone is about to bank roll up

    exactly. Equates at less than 4/1 each year for promotion. Only way we would be worth those odds is if we suddenly spent a bucket full of cash

    Interesting although I think our odds are always inflated each season above what the bookies really think due to a lot of lazy betting from supporters in higher leagues with little knowledge of the khazi so many will back us with us being a relatively large club down here, and as a result the bookies protect their money by slashing our odds. On top of this a lot of supporters back their own clubs so not to miss out if they have a great season and with our fan base possibly the largest down here that could also add to money backing us.

    A £1000 bet returns £50k. Be better off putting that £1000 on a 2/1 bet for promotion this season then staking the £3k winnings on promotion to Championship with odds of probably 10/1 then staking those winnings of £30k on promotion to PL at odds probably around 25/1.
    That’s £825k if it happened (which it won’t) but it highlights how stupid the 50/1 odds are.

    I don’t think it’s the punters that are lazy it’s the bookies aswell ............ McCalls last season proved that ........... as a non City fan you could have easily made a lot of money on them
