Depending on the 'new' bit, we have also resigned Angol.

He was already contracted though. Like Foulds. I wouldn't class them as 'signings'...they've just extended their contracts.

Walker was only on loan and now permanent.

Spot on…my thoughts on the money. They scouting team and head of recruitment have clearly done their due diligence on these signings. They have good backgrounds and good experience even though quite young .I haven’t seen one comment from fans of their ex clubs that remotely suggests any thing other than they are disappointed to see them leave and all indicate they have good potential to develop . Onwards and upwards with this trend for signing younger end players with potential, however that needs to be tempered with an old head sitting in the middle (?)

That statement just makes you look like an almighty condescending #$&#. If Man City or Liverpool fans said something similar to Bradford fans is that ok?

Paudie will be missed...... he played in a crap defence with poorish goalies, and no other centre half most of this dire season... I like him

I wouldn't be surprised if Hughes gave Dunn a call, being an ex player of his.

    Welcome Matthew.

Know little of the lad and tbh, my initial thoughts were, defender from Barrow? But a read up highlights positives (I'm sure he has his negatives too) and it seems a plan is being formulated.

A little unsure on this one but more than willing to see the lad before making a call. Tbh, I have confidence in Hughes, so I have partly answered my own uncertainties

I'd agree if he'd given 8/10 performances himself week in week. However, we rarely gof that. And when we played the likes of Exeter, Mansfield, Swindon and Port Vale - it was Songo who was the outstanding partner. To such an extent in one of those matches he was constantly bailing Paudie out of an error of his own making.

Curiously, Paudie is the one player I think will be better at a higher level, i.e. like Andy O'Brien years ago - as I think it's just about concentration and with better players around him, he'll naturally do that better

Why did barrow ship him out if he is such a good player, asking for a friend.

They didn't. They offered him a new deal, which he rejected.

Err, they didn't 'ship him out' as you describe it. Platt's old contract had expired; Barrow offered him a new contract which he chose to decline and instead sign for another club. That's how football works.

We have players at VP -Vernam, O'Connor and Watt for example - who may be in a similar position shortly. If Vernam doesn't accept a new contract, will you and your friend regard him as being shipped out by City?

For bringing an ounce of realism to the annual fantasism which seems to be standard when we sign these potential superstars who've done nothing at cowshed teams?

No can't be, at least Fordy is entertaining and a clear wind up merchant. This bantam lad I think is been quite serious with his bonkers views. I mean Jamie Walker and Harry Lewis coming from 'cowshed' teams as he put it!!

Notice him putting the boot into Parky at the end of Sundays final against Bromley, he's spent big and he will be judged on that, all fair comment just the way he seemed to take delight in pointing it out, they have previous according to McClean.
The cameras kept panning over to a box that had Beckham, Reynolds, McElhenney, Will Ferrell, Hyde thought he scored the equaliser for Wrexham and they were bouncing up and down until someone pointed out the linesman had flagged fof offside.
Then Reynolds started gesturing to the crowed he was heart broken, Welcome to the ups and downs of football Ryan.
