The lad has tried his best, generally played out of position. I'd question that he is "crap". The problem that Trueman and Sellars are creating for themselves is when you fill a squad with players of roughly the same quality, you run the risk if some of those players can't even make the bench, become disenchanted and disrupt team spirit. Some would say "it's a nice problem to have" but, in reality, it can work against you. French is only young, capable of being developed and could have adequately filled in if called upon.

Well he got 85 minutes in, hopefully he performed well enough up until then to catch the eye a positive way.

 

I see that Tyler French is featuring pretty regularly in Parky's Wrexham side now, at both centre half and right back.
We may well get to see him again at Valley Parade next year.
I liked the lad and his wholehearted approach when he was here briefly.

 

I too liked French and wouldn't have minded him to stay on however there could be a reason we let him go. He could end up costing them the title with his stupid challenge at Boreham Wood to concede a stoppage time penalty. Maybe a little too wholehearted at times.

Did Bowyer bring him to City?

 

Yes I think he did, so followed Bowyer up to Dundee. I thought French was alright.
