Ah OK thanks for that-actually on his recent performances I would keep him for next season if he was out of contract. Was immense today.

 

Yann epitomised today the ethic, attitude and desire, a successful squad needs. Talent is so needed but the former will be decisive in any promotion push.

I’m optimistic about next season. We’re starting to see the impact Hughes will have and the style of play we will be playing, and it’s all positive.

thats 13 players and the base of a very good side at this level. Add to that another 7 of a similar quality and I would be very happy.

Hope we keep Sutton for next year, He has more to offer and has a great engine on him and drives us forward and much better than Gillead in midfield, Not had much chance under Hughes so suspect he will be released but will be a loss next season

 

I think all the out of contract players on the bench today will be released along with Lavery and Robinson.

 

I heard that Walker had a kebab last night so he's definitely going to Turkey for his holidays then will sign for FGR as he held three fingers behind his back on the 27th minute of the game to represent the three letters

 

Why would we sign players of a similar quality to those we already have?

Picked up an interesting stat from radio Leeds after the game, Callum Cooke has made 112 appearances apparently and in that time has 6 goals and 15 assists, people bemoan Gillead's lack of productivity but Cooke's is just as bad.

If losing Cooke meant keeping vernham or Walker then I wouldn't be losing much sleep personally

 

He might, but can't see Morecambe paying us a fee for him

He’s deteriorated as he doesn’t fit in the Hughes system!
He will go and I subsequently won’t miss his wide arms and hands on hips because someone can’t reach HIS lousy pass!
