Yeah thought today Gillead was actually up there for MOTM with his tracking back, winning the ball back and all round good effective distribution.

Good overall performance today and ,with better talent on the pitch next season, we could be in for a much better season

Still not convinced he’s the answer in that position

Hughes was interviewed after Radio Leeds went off air and it will be on Twitter later.

Despite the stick he got today Gibson had a decent game and Patrick was a constant threat all game.

good end to the season. 3 straight wins and a record attendance for us in league 2 ,18283 is fantastic for a football match with nothing riding on it. It just goes to show if you get the product right , the fans will flock in.

A fair assessment but my qualm with AG today was his unwillingness to challenge for the 50/50 balls and shy away. I can think of 3 occasions today.

I'm not detracting from a 'good' performance btw

Really enjoyed the game today - nice to end the season on a winning note before we go into hibernation.

Yes, an idiot spoilt the minutes silence, but they otherwise left a nice wreath at the memorial and came in good numbers.

Gibson and Patrick made no impact as we expected as they’re both shite. Shusssssh.

if that’s the last time we see Bass, Paudie, Hendrie, Foulds, Watt, Walker, Cooke and Vernam in Claret and Amber, thanks for your efforts lads.

I actually think our defence is ok, despite Songo’s lack of pace. Reckon Paudie will leave though.

Walker would be one of the signings of the summer if we pulled it off but I’d be surprised.

Other players will look at our winning mini run and hopefully buy into what Hughes tells them he’s trying to achieve.

Give Hughes everything he wants and back him. That was terrific support today - best atmosphere I’ve seen this season and club are saying we’ve broken a L2 attendance record?! Great effort.

Agree about Patrick. Thought Songo’o played him perfectly by just playing a yard off him.
Pace wise Patrick wins everyday but Songo’o used his superior physical strength on a number of occasions and either eased the ball or Patrick out of play.

The one in the first half where he turned what should have been a 50/50 into a 60/40 in favour of their player just by holding back from the tackle was particularly obvious.

Was there REALLY over 18000 in the stadium though? Unlikely I’d say

It's absolutely crucial we back him with everything we've got. I don't want to see us miss out next season because we didn't back a talented manager. This talk by sparks of having a bigger budget than 70 to 80% of the division, I want that to be 80 to 90% of the division. A club pulling in the numbers we do should be able to compete with pretty much any team in the division.

It was very close. Lower kop was busier than at any point of the season and that's usually a good marker as to the size of the crowd

I would say there was. The main stand upper was busier than normal and the lower kop was a lot fuller as well.

Maybe there was more and the club knocked the total down and put a few hundred quid in the back pocket.
Does it really matter if they counted all the season ticket holders and some did not actually attend.
I still say well done to all , its a great achievement at this level, especially after the season we have had.

Was our esteemed owner present today. If so what more proof does he need, that with the correct financial backing 'this club could fly and bring him a return on his investment.
